93 points - Deep dark purple coloured. Nose shows some mystery, loamy, blue currant, cassis like aromas, flecked with woody spices. Full, compact and concentrated on the palate, tightly wound, the tannins are powerful, one could say a bit profound, yet well blended and harmonised into the wine. Perhaps some more complexity could be wished for, but at this time a good wine with potential. Finishes on cloves, rich and savoury.

Tasted on Thu, Jan 9, 2025.

91 points - Dark medium red purple: looking quite dense. The nose shows dark cherries amidst some coal dust. Well knit palate, with density. Tannins still quite strong, but fine and good quality. Needs time in the decanter to get those tannins opened up. There is complexity brooding below the surface, covered by those fine young tannins. This wine still has 5-10 years ahead. Try again in 2027. Great with duck confit.

Tasted on Thu, Jan 9, 2025.
