<p><b>87 points</b> - Medium dark red. Rich, dense tannins, touches of smoky, leafy, oxidative character, quite reminiscent of the whisky barrels that this wine was aged in. <p><b>92 points</b> - Crimson in colour. Striking sweet aromas of oak, vanilla, liquorice and plums. Medium bodied with noticeable acidity and tannins but is still very young. Palate of dark fruit, plums and chocolate. Fruity overall with some complexity already. I suspect it will age well. Really good wine and well priced.</p><p>Tasted on Wed, Oct 29, 2014.</p>
