<p><b>89 points</b> - Dark to medium purple red. Heat is evident on the nose, heady with some redcurrant, woody spices. Full bodied, rich, fleshy, glycerin style characters, dense and tightly woven on the palate, concentrated spice and meaty, tight extract character. Needs time to relax a bit and unwind. Very savoury, lots of charred oak and bitterness. There a bit of alcohol heat in the finish.
