91 points - Beautiful food wine. Smokey tannins on the nose framed by black fruits. Creamy texture. Excellent with steak - cuts through the fat. Great way to explore Petit Verdot as a single variety wine.

Tasted on Sat, Nov 20, 2010.

91 points - A very powerful wine straight out of the bottle. Slightly brick coloured red pours put from the bottle into the decantor. Firm and grippy tannins with a spicy edge. A powerhorse this is! Slightly tarty. Goes excellent with steak. Should be aged for a number of years. Amazing blueberry or Boisenberry edge emerging after a while. Intruiging - Great value!
Day 2: Even better, Confirming the need to age this beast so the tannins get tamed a bit. Spicy blueberry juice with a grippy touch.

Tasted on Tue, Nov 3, 2009.
