90 points - Dark purple red. Rich rather opulent aromas, ripe. Succulent palate, good and ripe and full bodied in style. Well balanced with the faintest lick of alcohol heat. Fleshy, touch of glycerin character.

89 points - Lots of ripe raw oak. Medium to full bodied palate with a decent amount of fruit weight, although the oak is a little disjointed from the fruit for me. Hints of pepper and tar and blackfruit. A new world quaffer.

87 points - Very fresh, very well made but the Viognier component contravenes the "If You Can Spot The Viognier, Then There's Too Much" Rule (with the result that the Viognier dominates and obscures some of the wine's and the Shiraz's charms). Nonetheless a very pleasant drink and very reasonably priced.
