93 points - Medium red. Thyme nose. Could be mistaken for Otago. Fine tannins run through the palate. Lots of savoury dried herb aromas amongst cherry flavours. Excellent acidity too. A keeper.

93 points - Medium dark purple red. Ripe red cherry and clove, spices on the nose. Chaffy, ripe palate with cherry notes, nicely weighted, rich with a stalky grip on the finish. Seems like it could take some age, and build complexity.

95 points - decanted for an hour-big nose,seemed like a big unfocused wine at Chinese restaurant(bbq duck).Only at home later did the last 3rd of the bottle open up to be a beautiful,full plush wine.Not being an expert,would say 89 on first tasting to 95 at finish
