<p><b>88 points</b> - Attractive purple red, medium dark. Some heat, rich black fruit and herbal licks, peaty, almost yeasty on the nose. Big, spicy palate with a touch of spirity heat, particularly in the finish, quite ripe tasting, almost overly so, somewhat straightforward. Also oak work detectable, chaffy tannins, chewy and thick.
