92 points - Pretty pale in colour at this stage. Peachy nose with some cinnamon. There is oak in play. Palate also shows peach and cinnamon cocktail with quite some weight. Full flavoured chardy: Lovely wine, particularly at the price. Will age for a couple of years. Day 3: lemon elements on the nose. Palate still in the peach-cinnamon mold.

90 points - Light gold. On the nose, grapefruit peel, some smoky tones, butterscotch. Good flavour on the palate, butterscotch notes follow through. There’s decent depth here and persistence. Oak tannin is a little obvious at the moment; it should mellow in time.

94 points - Fully mature. Deep yellow. Very harmonious and balanced on the palate. Mellow with a very well measured intensity, round and seamless. Very good drop! A touch of nuttiness and chicken stock character.

94 points - Light to medium yellow. Some reductive aromas, a touch of sulphide, roast hazelnut notes. Harmonious and balanced on the palate, full, soft and rounded, subtle and nuanced in texture with a tingle of tension from the acidity in the finish. A beautifully aged, complete wine; the only thing to want is a more complexity and detail on the palate.

92 points - Mealy coffee aroma. Mellow, well integrated and rounded off balance. The wine has come around quite nicely. Never quite my favourite, but now I do enjoy it. Not overly complex, rather plain in flavour but good texture and a really nice good accompanist. Built around those almond meal flavours. Great with sweet pork belly.

94 points - Pale gold. Brazil nut, mealy aromas, hint of struck flint, still a little restrained. Luscious palate with a good concentration and lipsmacking flavour and depth. Purity of fruit on oak, quite nicely balanced. Not super complex, but very satisfying, well made white. Improved over the years and is drinking superbly.

91 points - Having had this wine a couple of times, it's not a bad Chardonnay. But something rubs me the wrong way. There is a bitter mealy nougat like backbone, to which i am not partial. Putting my preference aside, it's undeniable that this is a good wine. Day 2: significantly improved. That mealy character is not as strong. Much more integrated. Came up from 90.

94 points - Pale bright yellow. Fine nose, nuanced oak, malty tones. Beautiful malty palate, again nuanced with twinges of acidity and smoothly textured, supple and shapely in the mouth. Clearly a lovely wine. Has some degree of finesse and charm.
