<p><b>93 points</b> - Medium red, showing some age. Nose shows a lot of Sous-Bois, hints of cherries and smoky aromas. Herbs: thyme. Palate has fine tannins, which are not fully resolved and need fatty food such as duck to bite into. Quite some good acidity keeping the structure balanced. Cherry aromas linger with some bitterness. <p><b>90 points</b> - Dark red. Savoury, dark fruit spectrum, quite stalk driven, bramble and forest floor. Palate is fairly firm, the fruit overwhelmed by structural elements. <p><b>95 points</b> - Medium red, slightly developed, with a bit of purple. Nose shows forest floor aromas: very sous bois. Hint of dried blood / rust. On the palate the acidity is vibrant, fine and resolved. Tannins have integrated, and there is a dark fruit berry core with faint graphite. Fresh and lively. Excellent length. Love it! Spiced cherries, plum, blueberry, smoky herbs, bitter chocolate, savoury oak and Christmas cake add to this sultry wine's gorgeous allure.
