87 points - Quintessential Willyabrup! The leafy nose, the yummy cassis raspberry palate, the clean varietal expression - it's all there. A slightly fruit driven specimen we have in front of us. Long finish. But there is a lot of acid, resulting in a vervy undercurrrent that might not be everyone's favourite. It makes the wine look overly lean the more it opens up.

Tasted on Fri, Jun 18, 2010.
