89 points - 2nd day open. Dark purple red. Heady lifted blackberries plums with a hint of earth. Palate is spicy big and juicy fruits, tannins are vanishingly in the background. Balance is there. Back palate feels a bit loose, a bit watery, finishing on blackberry Danish pastry. Balance is surprising. Probably the best bottle I've had from the cellar.

87 points - Dark red. Nose of head. Red fruit vanilla. Fine dusty tannins are immediately apparent on the entry. Quite a spicy palate with alcoholic heat. A short finish with raisin-like characters. Wine had seeped a bit up the sides of the cork. Not as good as I remembered it.
