<p><b>93 points</b> - Dark purple red. Dense nose with a good balance between the fruit and savoury tones. A touch of char and animal and meat extract and oak l. Full bodied palate with very good structure and texture. Smooth and creamy with fine grained tannin and a lick of eucalypt. Lipsmacking with a good intensity and persistence. Quite delicious. <p><b>92 points</b> - Dark red purple. Hot ripe nose, quite stringent, herbal, faintly green and sappy. Opens up after a while with savoury aromas. Palate follows up on its promise of heat, but that is quickly overlooked. A serious and layered wine, it shows a surprisingly great deal of depth and concentration. A thinker's wine.
