<p><b>90 points</b> - Pale yellow. A bit of lychee with a mineral edge on the nose. Palate is soapy with quite some phenolics. Tasted with Indian biryani the aromatics don’t quite hold up: the structure and the phenolics dominate. One wishes for more intense varietal aromatics covering the palate length. <p><b>90 points</b> - Pale gold. Delicate nose, hints of floral and lychee. Richly textured palate, quite phenolic and full flavoured, though lacking some detail. Finishing with a somewhat phenolic bitterness. Lacking the chutzpah and aromatic power to compete properly with the delicious Josh Niland Murray Cod biryani tonight.
