<p><b>95 points</b> - Aromas of vanillin oak, chocolate and even hints of leather. After some time in the glass even Christmas cake, spicy sweetness and liquorice come through. <p><b>95 points</b> - Deep, dark purple, almost black. Blackberry, vanilla oak, chocolate and eventually fruitcake on the nose. Big, thick and dense. Crawls down the side of the glass like olive oil. <p><b>94 points</b> - Dense dark red/purple. Oak, dark fruit and vanilla on the nose. Medium to full body. Some acidity and tannins that smooth out in the glass. <p><b>91 points</b> - Dark, brooding nose with forest floor aroma. Full of flavor, with a big amount of oak hitting you. Tannins still scratchy and gripping, but in a nice and enjoyable way. Brute force approach rather than refined elegance. A tad heaty but overall enjoyable. After a while in the glass it softens. The tannins integrate; on the palate one gets yummy dark berry juice, with natural fruit sweetness. A fruit bomb. I don't mind it!
