92 points - Dark purple red. Nose is very thick, fragrant and impactful. Fringes of minty acidity frame a big core of charry wood notes. Palate is gigantic. It has immense presence. Thick chocolately texture, black olive notes and great drive and line. Long intense finish the acidity leaves the tongue zinging. Great concentration. Expansive palate coverage - this is the biggest wine I've tasted to date. A bit alcoholic.

Tasted on Thu, Dec 9, 2010.

85 points - It's well made, but i don't really like it. Super-alcoholic monster with 16% ! Über-sized mouthfeel. Sweet blueberry with natural dusty tannins. Too sweet and too alcoholic for my taste, but a lot of people will like this. What I find most interesting about this wine are it's tannins, which give it an interesting complexity.

Tasted on Thu, Dec 9, 2010.
