<p><b>90 points</b> - Dark ruby. Nose is heady with hints of blackberry, tomato, dark chocolate, but could do with more complexity. Palate is good with very fine dense tannins. Rich cool leather, the palate is robust and flavoursome with blackberry and licorice, tending to be a bit too sweet. The long finish could be more structured. The cheese seems to bring out the fruit and vanilla in the wine.</p><p>Tasted on Tue, Jul 14, 2009.</p>
