96 points - Slightly less brown than the 2009 D'Arenberg Derelict Grenache, but still with some colour development. Red brown. Red berry. Totally smooth and integrated. French oak, medium bodied. Love the subtlety and the seamless nature here.

88 points - Extremely fruity juice number. Medium bodied - not alcoholic at all. Superbly quaffable. Not a keeper, but uncomplicated drink now fun. Hardly any tannins, although some chewy elements. Plum and cherry. Confectionary raspberry bonbons.

87 points - Vibrant dark purple red. Juicy, ripe, sweet raspberry aromas. Soft palate with a strikingly sweet almost confection like spearmint, cassis, Ribena anyone? Somewhat grippy tannins too, dry and chaffy, particular on the finish. There's that tarry component as well. Will appeal to the fruit driven, berry juice drinker. Pleasant enough, a fun wine.
