96 points - Dark red some purple. Brooding dark cherries singing out of the glass, with fine spices underneath. Very tight on opening.
Later: nose changes into the tar direction. Darkest of berries with lifted mint tones. Thyme/garrique.
Fist in a velvet glove: incredible cutting power when needed, but also delicate when the food requires it. We are having this single bottle over an entire evening with a Degustation of twelve dishes. This wine is able to accommodate most dishes wonderfully and adepts.

Tasted on Fri, Jul 26, 2024.
