Boysenberry on the palate. Yummy Pinot noir, showing how it's done. Perfume developing as it opens in the glass after 2hrs. <p><b>90 points</b> - Dark purple red. Lovely dark earthy, mushroomy floral characters on the nose. A trifle lean in the mouth, acidity a little forward, it has some intensity and again lovely mushroomy earthen characters. These deep savoury aromas permeate the finish. <p><b>90 points</b> - Interesting nose reminds me of popcorn, sappy, stemmy, smoked, slightly stewed red berries. Palate is a slightly bitter and slightly tart and slightly watery. Quite austere, with green wood smoke, and smoked bacon permeating. Finishing on soft vanilla and bitter dark chocolate.
