Graphite and cherry. Whole bunches. Quite phenolic. Not overly generous in terms of fruit sweetness. Underwood aromas in play also. Slightly heaty finish. Charred tannins.

Tasted on Wed, Nov 4, 2020.

Slightly lifted, spicy aromatic nose, dried floral and cherry notes, some complexing leather, even malo hints. Medium to full bodied, there’s richness here and powerful fruit. Surprising amount of structure, phenolic grip and palate presence. Some oak tones detectable, charcuterie, good length. Needs time to build more character but what a wine. Very unique in style. Quite unlike pinot noirs from Australia.

Tasted on Wed, Nov 4, 2020.
