Nose of tar, graphite edging into fernet herbs. Reminds me of an aged Barolo at first, dried blood and all. The palate medium bodied and fully swung in. A wine at its peak. Dark tar and pepper aromas intermingle with secondary herbs. Outstanding and complex. Will have another decade or so ahead of it.
Day 2: all tar, dried fernet herbs and pepper.

Tasted on Fri, Apr 25, 2025.
