96 points - Medium purple red. Restrained, delicate aromas, red cherries, florals and dried herbs. Such great concentration and detail on the palate, fussing around to all corners of the mouth. Filigreed, light of touch, and yet with succulence and a beautiful, vital fruit core. Amazing wine. Long fantail finish. Musky, roasting pan, antique furniture polish hints too, particularly in the finish.

96 points - This wine is in a great place right now. Soft and approachable tannins mixed with terrific structure and complex flavours. Will live for years more, but I can't imagine it getting any better than it is at 8 years of age. Probably the best wine I have tasted from the Yarra Valley.

96 points - Medium light purple red. Detailed, floral, blueberry and strawberry aromas. Really expressive and plush and velvetty in the mouth, there is softness and intensity, a real depth of strawberry and spice flavour, touches of mint, finishing on a fine grip, long lasting. Really polished.
