95 points - Intriguing aromas of lemon and hazelnutty development character. A joyful, harmonious palate, balanced and driving in flavour. Hazelnutty notes, complex acacia wood honey, there is a twinge of sweetness that provides foil to the tight lemony acidity and buttery toast phenolics.

95 points - Mid yellow. Nuanced aroma of lemon pith, candle wax, just on the cusp of really displaying honeyed aged notes. The palate shows real refinement, flowing and quietly powerful, again the tinge of honey and spices starting to emerge. A beautiful glass of middle aged Semillon.

94 points - Pale green. Fragrant like blossoms with a hint of seductive sweetness. Palate shows great integration with a chalky mineral lemon edge. There is the tiniest hint of sweetness, giving the wine a nice charme and taking the edge of the harsh acidity than can plague young Semillon. This wine needs another decade. It’s just starting to blossom.

The palate follows in its footsteps, this is elegant, fleet, acidity refined, deeply flavoured, the aged, honeyed, nutty, lemony notes dance. Beautiful wine, with grace and yet power.
